If your pet suffers an emergency, first attempt to contact your primary care veterinarian. If they cannot assist you, or if they recommend transfer to a 24-hour care facility, call Metropolitan at (502) 266-7007. We will provide you with emergency instructions and prepare for your arrival.
Metropolitan Veterinary Emergency Service opened in 2009 to provide after-hour and weekend emergency care for your pet in times of crisis. With the oversight of a board-certified criticalist our emergency veterinarians and staff strive to stabilize, diagnose, and treat patients in an efficient and compassionate fashion.
